Highly detailed 1:72 scale desktop model of the A-10 Thunderbolt II. Features the European woodland paint-scheme which was designed to minimize visibility from above. It uses dark green, medium green and dark gray in order to blend in with the typical European forest terrain and was used from the 1980s to the early 1990s. Model includes its distinctive front-mounted GAU-8 Avenger 30 mm caliber Gatling gun, the heaviest rotary cannon ever mounted on an aircraft. Includes display stand and educational collectorÕs card. Officially licensed model in collaboration with the curators of the Smithsonian Institution. Measures 7.5 inches long with 9 inch wingspan.
