We carry two types of sugar mold tin inserts, the cone shaped, and the flat bottom inserts like these.With these flat inserts, our cone shaped candles will stick out a little above the mold. With our cone shape inserts they are flush. So it is your preference. So again...our candles our flush with our cone shape inserts and rise above with our flat inserts. Our sugar mold candles fit both inserts. The flat bottom inserts are better for burning votives. Not using an insert when burning candles in the sugar molds is asking for trouble. The problem with glass inserts, which we do not carry, is that sooner or later they will shatter and, well, create a mess and a danger. Not using the inserts will make it almost impossible to dig the old candle out of the mold. All of our complete sugar molds come with the inserts.
Dimensions: 2.25"D x 2.5"W The last photo shows how our candles fit in these "flat" inserts. They will stick out above the insert. If you want the candles to be flat, get our cone inserts. Ours have a COPPER FINISH on them.
