General Finishes CQ Oil Base Gel Stain, 1 Quart, Candlelite

Designed to help soft, porous woods such as aspen, pine and cherry accept a stain more evenly. Available in 1/2 Pint, Pint and Quart sizes. Pre-sealing the wood will lighten the color of your stain so test the pre-stain and the color before starting. A second coat of stain may be applied after the first coat has dried to achieve a darker color.

Designed for use before staining new, soft and porous wood surfaces, such as aspen, cherry, birch, poplar or pine with an oil-based stain
It penetrates the grain of the wood to promote uniform acceptance of oil-based wood stain
Reduces streaking and blotching to help ensure beautiful, even coverage
Apply to raw wood using a clean cloth, a foam brush or paint pad applicator
Clean up with mineral spirits
