Accurate for both inside and outside measurements, a folding wooden rule has always been a staple in finish carpenters toolbox. Unfortunately this tool is often expensive, fragile, wears quickly and water stains easily. This new fiberglass folding rule has all the advantages of a wooden folding rule, but none of the disadvantages. Made in Switzerland these rules feature engraved graduations in 1/16" increments, graduated slide for inside measurements, and snap locks which secure each section in the closed and extended positions.
