Measure the knee for which you are buying the brace. Standing, bend the leg no more than 45 degrees, and with a flexible tape measure, measure around the largest part of the knee, directly over the patella. (If a flexible tape measure is not available, measure with a string or other flexible material and mark the measurement, then lay over a ruler).
