Original vinyl EP. Slug and Ant lay down some sick beats on this vinyl EP. Slug's dope rhymes call to mind warm memories of the summers of his youth. The whole record is a lively affair without getting bogged down in any emo. "Sunshine" is the big release on the EP, but all five songs are solid. The Minneapolis / St. Paul-based duo sure don't disappoint on "The Number One," "RFTC," "Mattress" or "Don't Forget." Musab lends a hand on the vocals for "Sunshine." One big change on this album is it's reliance on a piano. More than just electronic beats, there is a real piano being played! It sounds good, too. Fat Beat.
