Penja white Pepper by Terre Exotique is from the Penja Valley of Cameroon. Thanks to a naturally rich and balanced volcanic soil, Penja pepper is unique and very tasty. It is grown according to the Penja's ancestral traditions in Cameroon, and is greatly appreciated by connoisseurs.
The pepper plant is a creeper which grows on a support. When the berries are ripe, they are dried in the sun and become white peppercorns.
Penja White Pepper is delicate and soft. Although it enhances the flavor of all types of meat, it is especially recommended for pork and mild flavored fish. We suggest to grind and add the Penja White Pepper just before serving.
Each canister contains 80 grams (approximately 2.8 ounces) of Penja White Pepper.
