This is a new recording of selections from the Broadway show, Phantom of the Opera. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Phantom of the Opera is the longest-running musical in Broadway history.
Each song appears on the album twice: once with background music and guide vocals, and once with accompaniment tracks alone. This allows the performer to learn a song by singing along with the vocals and music, then to practice their technique accompanied only by the background tracks. All songs are recorded in the original show key and show tempo. This is a CD not a CD+G recording.
