This Parker 4-4 B2HF-SS barbed tube connector is made of type 316 stainless steel and has a 1/4" barbed connection on one end and a 1/4" male NPT threaded connection on the other to connect a tube or a hose to a female NPT threaded connection. This adapter (also called a connector) is made of type 316 stainless steel for more corrosion resistance than type 304 stainless steel. The barbed connection creates a tight seal on a tube or hose, and the male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded end connects with a female NPT threaded connection. The integral 9/16" hex nut provides a gripping surface for a wrench when tightening the fitting.
