This product is made to hang under wallpaper. It is perfect for troubled walls. If properly installed it can hang over cracked or dinged drywall or plastered walls, cinderblock, paneling and others. Some choose to hang it horizontally under a vertically installed wallpaper to insure that the seams are concealed.
