Prodyne was founded in 1971 when we invented the original Gourmet Cheese Slicer. We felt that America needed a reliable Cheese Slicer with a built in wire cutter at an affordable price and we knew that we could provide it. After a year of designing, prototyping and testing, our Cheese Slicer was born. We applied for a U.S. patent and introduced it to the market.
Prodyne's Cheese Slicer quickly gained recognition for it's quality and function and sales started to soar. Over the years we have received many letters from our satisfied customers telling us how wonderful our slicer is and how they could not live without it. It is truly considered to be the best Cheese Slicer available.
In the early 80's we decided to expand our product line by designing and manufacturing many other new and innovative products. Prodyne now offers a wide assortment of kitchenware ,barware and serveware in Stainless steel, acrylic, wood and other materials.
