This CD contains John's most essential choral music and is released just days before his 60th birthday. Rutter is best known as a composer of choral music and so this disc is a fitting way to celebrate. The disc surveys a variety of the composer's styles and accomplishments from his career including a few rarities as well as his best-loved pieces, both sacred and secular.
