Therefore, we suggest the following approach to reading the text, accordung to the background of the reader: Zen School: Chap. VI to IX first. Esotericism: Chap. VII to IX first. Pure Land: Chap I-V first. The bereaved: Chap. X. All others: Epilogue and Preface, in that order.
