- Face the brush downward so the flat edge glides along the lid, depositing colour; Contour application: use the flat angle to pick up the contour colour & tap out the excess on the hand
- Rotate the brush upside down so the flat edge is facing up & apply colour to the crease using a "windshield wiper" motion
