This FireWire-based adapter from Apple allows you to charge your iPod without connecting to a computer. Keep it at home or carry it along in your travel bag. It plugs into a wall outlet and connects via 6-pin to 6-pin FireWire cable, or by an iPod Connector to FireWire cable (sold separately, required for use). For use with iPods only. Should not be plugged into any other FireWire device. Refer to your iPod User Manual for correct cable type. Designed for the new 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 GB iPods.
