Bathory turned the wheel of time backwards and ended up in an age and place nearer to their roots and origin with their fifth release. Every track is majestically arranged and enriched with sound effects to set the mood. Hammerheart found a slower, more powerful style and still acts as the blue print for hundreds of bands of the 90's. Not only the beginning of the true Tundra metal but also considered on of its crowning achievements.
