You'd think two discs/141 minutes of unadorned machine rhythms and strikingly original samples (Morricone, Rickie Lee Jones, TV documentaries, some chap named Victor Lewis-Smith singing, "Ripped to the Tits on Drink and Drugs") would be overkill, and you'd be right.
