Self-taught artist Carol Rama's unconventional painting encompasses an erotic, even sexually aggressive universe populated by "mutated" characters who present themes of sexual identity with specific references to female sensuality. This catalog of a major retrospective of Rama's work-over 150 pieces in all-at the Fondazione Sandretto de Rebaudengo was organized in conjunction with MART in Rovereto and is a crowning document to her career.
