Containing 7,000 Chinese characters, this book is revised and enlarged on the basis of Table of Chinese Character Patterns in Common Print Use issued in January, 1965. These two books established the printing style and the font similar to handwriting form, and formulated the font structure, strokes and stroke order of selected Chinese characters. Its the normative standard for us to use the new type printing style and font. Its also the new complementary standard to obsolete variant Chinese character and use simplified Chinese character.
