This Level 11 (Grade 5) practice test will prepare your child for the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT®)Screening Form, a “quick screen†test for children that is used for admission to US gifted and talented programs.The CogAT Screening Form is a shorter version of the full length CogAT Form 7. The Screening Form contains only the analogies section of each battery: picture/verbal analogies, number analogies, and figure matrices. Some schools prefer the CogAT Screening Form, as the test offers a quality evaluation with a shorter administration time than the complete CogAT. The questions in this CogAT practice test were created by educators who have prepared many children for gifted and talented tests. They cover all three of the test's sections (three question types) so you can help your student improve the logical and visual reasoning skills required to excel on the CogAT Screening Form test.
