- The first part of the book is used to fill any gaps you may have in the math needed to answer problems in the official prep guides. Problems in the official prep guide practice tests are cross-referenced to math topics in this book. For each math topic there is a lesson, homework problems, and answer explanations.  Topics are taken from pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics.

It describes a base strategy for taking the test, how to establish your target score, and the correct pacing for your target score. It then describes a practice cycle that you should follow using the official prep guides.
