The two girls were introduced to readers in a previously published book, Un Ete Pas Comme Les Autres, when fourteen year old Jenny came to France to stay with her pen pal, Isabelle, and her family. The following summer, Isabelle went to visit Jenny at her home near Chicago. In this new book, Un Autre Ete...pas comme les autres, the girls, now are more mature 16 and 17, and still best friends, embark on a great adventure. They will travel alone together for one month in the south of France, in sunny Provence.
