The purpose of this book, is to help any person as much as possible, to convert a panel van, into a camper van. There is information on all aspects of the conversion, Also, much needed legal requirements, and information, as to how to get your van re-classified as a Motor Caravan, with the DVLA. There are instructions on how to construct a Rock & Roll bed, how to build the cabinets, how to fit the windows, as well as details on lining out & insulation, wiring, & gas fittings. In the interests of safety, I have referred readers to you tube where expert advice is needed for electrical connections etc, as I am not a qualified electrician. I have included an electrical circuit diagram, showing how I wired this particular vehicle. Lots of detail of the costing is included, and there is information, on how to stay at approximately 750, 24hr stops, around Britain & Ireland, for FREE! There are also over 220, full colour, mostly stage photographs, included in the book. As the saying goes, "a picture paints a thousand words." and if they don't say enough, there are nearly 22,000 words as well. The print is in 12 point, which is a medium font, making for easy reading. ( no need for putting the specs on and off, if you need them ) and there are wide margins, enabling you to make notes as you go along, for reference on measurements etc. I should point out, that the actual conversion cost around £1500 , plus the cost of the van, which in my case was £1000.
