Laurel and Hardy made over one hundred movies together. "Laurel and Hardy: The Lobby Cards" presents over 200 rare and vintage lobby cards from fifty-three of their classic films. Material used in this book was drawn from private collections. The book is divided into three sections: "The Silent Shorts," "The Sound Shorts," and "The Features." It was created to show how these films were originally presented to contemporary audiences in their first theatrical runs, and to encourage viewing of these classic comedies today.
