This is Volume One of a two volume set. This book covers Colson, Columbia / Westfield, CWC (Cleveland Welding Company) / Roadmaster, Hawthorne (Montgomery Ward house brand), Huffman / Dayton, Mead, Monark Silver-King.These books were originally intended as limited edition works, but since Amazon has changed the game a bit, I can no longer purchase copies for personal distribution without also making these titles available for public distribution. So it goes. I may well pull the plug on this title after it reaches the intended copy count of 630. We'll see.Anyway. This book (Volume 1) is a primer on the vintage bicycle models listed above. (Volume 2 covers the balance, I suggest purchasing them both together.) Scads of scans from catalogs that slipped through the decades intact. Running commentary on bike models. Also: pages of period accessories. Which, here's a thing that I've found to be true: Once you know that a thing exists, then it becomes much easier to find that thing. Becoming aware of more vintage bike stuff might well make it easier to find more vintage bike stuff. Which is perhaps a problem that you want to have. Collect smarter so you can collect harder.Cheers, Geoff
