A book of 30 meditative songs with lead sheets for multiple voices. Some of the songs are rearrangements from the historic Catholic liturgy, making this book a valuable resource for Anglo-Catholic and ancient-future communities. Others are original creations inspired by the words and themes of the Christian scriptures. Many of the songs are adaptations of the Psalms. All of the music was originally written on guitar, but the songs fit a variety of settings, including a cappella. Though it is a book of songs, it need not be limited to musicians. The book includes commentary on biblical and theological themes behind the music, as well as an introduction to meditative prayer. As such, the book may provide a helpful companion to any life of prayer, musical or not.
