Dorrie, the little witch heroine of Dorrie's Magic and Dorrie and the Blue Witch, has turned her talents to producing a play with the help of her cat, Gink. All goes well until Dorrie cuts up what she thinks is a piece of old cloth, but which is really her mother's costume for a ball. But in spite of--or because of Dorrie's mistake--the story, as well as the play, has a happy ending.
