Jan Dougherty, lovingly referred to as, 'the Head Rag Dragger', has written a book that gives you, "THE PATH" to clean your house. As she says, "Follow me my child and I'll show you The PATH"!

She gives you a shopping list of what you need, where to buy it, and how to use it. The Path is described in detail for doing both maintenance cleaning (quick, down and dirty), as well as the Big Job (Spring Clean anyone?). There is even an extra copy of the shopping list in the back of the book so you can tear it out and take it shopping with you.

The Nitty Gritty section is a detailed description of cleaning specifics in your house like the microwave, the range, ceiling fans, and venetian blinds, but you only have to read about them if you have them. There are plenty of pictures showing how to take some of these appliances apart so they can be cleaned properly. And hopefully you get them back together.
