As an Israeli and an American it’s important to me that my preschooler and toddler become fluent in both Hebrew and English. We insist on speaking only Hebrew at home - not an easy feat! Our preschooler is now bilingual and our toddler is starting to pick up Hebrew as well.
I created this Hebrew letter tracing workbook so that they can start to learn how to read and write Hebrew as well.
This book includes:
- Large and clear pages.
- Letters that aren’t too big or too little.
- All Hebrew letters, including final letter forms.
- Both tracing practice and blank lines so that children can practice writing letters after they learn how to trace them.
- Dark enough tracing dots so that kids can see them but not too dark so that they can also see past them.
- Examples of words that begin with each Hebrew letter.
- Coloring book images of the examples.
- Most importantly, plenty of room to practice: 3 pages of letter tracing and practice for each letter.
I wish you the best of luck in your journey to making a positive impact on your kids and their love of learning. I wanted to share a great tip I learned from other parents for whatever Hebrew handwriting book or printable sheets you go with:
- Take the book apart and put each tracing page into a sheet protector.
- Have your child use dry-erase markers to trace the letters.
- Wipe off the pages to reuse the sheets over and over again!
