N. Eldon Tanner, his life and service;

This volume is an effort to outline some of the clearly visible events and related circumstances in the life of Nathan Eldon Tanner. It will be clear that the texture, color, and character of the life require larger canvas, finer pigments, more skilled artists than could be supplied by the undersigned and those who collaborated in the effort. Nevertheless, the effort had to be made in order that there could develop wider and greater understanding of President Tanner than was previously available for a growing audience beyond his family and intimate associates.
