The 4th edition of Hiking Georgia takes up where the last edition left off: poised to start hikers on some of the finest trekking adventures the Peach State has to offer. Whether the trails are in the high mountains of north Georgia, on coastal barrier islands or in fertile Piedmont river valleys, the flora, fauna and scenery can be spectacular. The information in all 72 chapters is updated, incorporating a total of 15 new trails. The hike descriptions offer directions, as well as GPS-tracked color trail maps and elevation charts to make the journey easier and more enjoyable.
