This 4-CD set accompanies the twelfth edition of Jazz by Paul Tanner. All of the selections on each audio CD have a companion listening guide in the text. This expanded recording package for the twelfth edition features new recordings by Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller, Dizzy Gillespie's Latin Big Band, Stan Getz and João Gilberto, Poncho Sanchez, Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, and Esperanza Spalding, as well as extended recordings by Davis, Michael Brecker, and the Yellowjackets.
